When you co-locate with MBI, We provide the rack space, power, and ethernet connection, you provide the equipment. You place your computer, router, firewall, etc. into our colo rack. We provide you with a screaming 10 or 100mbps direct internet connection, redundant power service, N+1 fire protection... all inside ultra-secure facilities. You remain in total control of your equipment.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do I have to Co-Locate in Phoenix?
No. Our main rack space is located in Phoenix, Arizona but we have arrangements that allow us to place your equipment in any Level3 data center or at our Mesa, Arizona facility. Contact us for pricing options.
What is the smallest 'unit' I can purchase?
1U of rack space and 1mbps of bandwidth is the typical sale, however, we can sell 1/2 mbps connections.
Do you manage my equipment?
Normally, we do not manage or maintain your equipment and/or software. The goal of co-lo hosting is to provide you with a secure, reliable, and fast connection to the internet and rack space. We can make special arrangements for those clients who need support and service on their equipment. Contact us for pricing.
Who handles DNS?
Most of our clients do their own DNS. MBI can handle most simple DNS settings for you free of charge. However, if you plan on hosting numerous sites or have expansive DNS lists, we do have an additional charge or you can choose to do DNS on your own machine.
How/when can I access my hardware in your rack?
We provide 24/7/365 access to your hardware on an escorted basis. During normal business hours, just give us a call and we can make arrangements for you to meet us at the facility. Off-hours, we supply you with an emergency contact that will respond ASAP. If you are out-of-state, we do offer a hands-on support where we will perform reboots or special installs for you.
How does your billing work?
We bill the first of the month for the current month at your contracted amount. Any 'overage' bandwidth you use is billed at the end of the month.
Do you limit any content for your co-location hosts?
Yes and No. We don't limit what you want to put on your co-lo server but we do have some content guidelines. We do not allow adult content, unsolicited bulk 'spam' email, or illegal content on our webservers. We reserve the right to label content 'inappropriate'.
